Wholesale Bingo Supplies recently learned that Scientific Games would be pulling the plug on its Big Money Bingo game. For those of you who don't know the Big Money Bingo game is a statewide linked progressive jackpot that began a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, after a promising start, it never really went over well with the bingo population.

 

So, what's next? Below are some of the details: 

 

 

The current jackpot that is running right now will be the last one. Big Money Bingo will end with either a) the next coverall bingo in the allowed amount of calls on this current jackpot or b) on December 31, 2008. If no jackpot winner has hit by the evening of December 31, 2008, then the Big Money Bingo game will continue to draw numbers on that night until the first system wide coverall bingo winner(s) occur. The final jackpot will then be awarded to the coverall winner. Of course, multiple winners will split the winning amount evenly.

 

If you currently participate in the Big Money Bingo, it's a good idea to promote the final Big Money Bingo run, especially if you will have bingo on December 31st. Someone has to win, and if the jackpot hasn't been given away by the 31st, bingo players will likely be very enthusiastic over a large prize that must go that evening. 

 

Keep in mind, as we write this, it's possible that the final Big Money Bingo jackpot has already been won.

 

 

Make sure that you contact Scientific Games @ 1-866-866-5935 to arrange the removal of your bingo equipment . Be sure to provide them with your hall ID and your charitable gaming license number.

 

Scientific Games plans on having someone travel to your bingo hall to take back all of their bingo equipment. This includes the satellite dish mounted on the outside and all associated cables. Also, from the inside, they will pick up the 4 port hub, the IDU, the amino, the terminal, the bingo paper scanner, and all of the Big Money Bingo bingo paper. There also may be additional equipment depending on your location.

 

Scientific Games is requesting that you gather all of the inside bingo equipment and bingo supplies together in an unlocked area for their service people to pick up.
